Links and Good Readings

  • Graduation Speech delivered by Guy Kawasaki (copied from Sandeep at Bochum)

  • You and Your Research (PDF) - The famous speech by Richard Hamming. Highly inspirational and motivating.

  • Very well presented Time Management Advice(11 MB). I think, everyone should go through this once. You will definitely get a couple of things which could help you save your time.

  • Do you really want to do a PhD? Ask the question to yourself. after reading THIS. This paper gives a detailed description on the hardships a PhD student is going to face.

  • Ronald T Azuma's Home page - This is a location where you can find some nice articles.

  • Microsoft Passport by Joel Spolsky - This article initially gives a small overview of cookies given by websites and how the cookies are useful to them. Then the article explains what is Microsoft Passport and how it is being used by Microsoft.

  • What is BBC? - Just a news channel/portal? There might be some areas in BBC you never explored. I personally find the following things very useful among many other useful stuff.

  • Are you an Objectivist? Want to know more? Follow these links.

  • Why not read all the best sellers and popular books? Get the list from ABC.

Personal/Photos

I am basically from Kerala(India). My father, mother and younger sister are my family members. They all are in Kerala. To describe me, I am (hyper?)active, extrovert and very friendly to everyone. My hobbies include reading, photography, travelling, listening to music, watching movies etc. (the list goes on...)

For those who know what does a "mallu" mean: Some of my friends told that I am an "Extremist Mallu". So everything clear :)

The following are the albums available right now. [It would be nice if you can view it in full screen. F11 is the shortcut for fullscreen in most of the browsers]
  1. Murnau - A place near Munich (70 kms), We went there on a weekend which had very bad weather.
  2. My way to university - Daily I take this way to uni. and come back home. With flowers and small streams, it's so beautiful.
  3. My celebrations during Fasching 2007 - Fasching is carnival season. Originally it was a Pagan festival which came out of ancient Rome or Greece. In recent centuries, however, it has become more associated with the Christian Church. Most people will get the afternoon off work so that they can go down to the Viktualienmarkt wearing a silly costume.
  4. Some Pictures of typical Kerala food (Got from Intenet) - Do I really have to give any explanation?
  5. From the trip to Neuschwanstein. - These are really cool, I guess.
  6. With the Summer Uni team - The trip to Herrenchiemsee Schloss (Castle).
  7. In Dublin - Supposedly for a Workshop ;).
  8. In the Alps - A beautiful gorge named Partnachklamm.
  9. Canoe Trip - Pictures from the Canoe Trip made to Boden See (No picutures of Canoeing are there.. as I didn't take my camera out in the Canoe :) )
